On Sunday 27th November, 2022 in the evening Nisarga Society, Mumbai organized a program "Domestic Waste Management". In this program,
1) How to sort your household waste..... and
2) How to prepare compost from wet household waste....... its complete guide. By Bhagyashree Chemburkar and Arvind Viras, Waste Management Specialists
was given. After that a separate car will be arranged to take the dry waste to the ward (R-Central) of BMC where their society comes in association with the Solid Waste Department Officer (Shri Ravidra Kamble). So people keep dry waste separately and give it separately. They will then be encouraged for home composting and efforts will be made on how the society can move towards "Zero Waste". The entire program was organized by ECHO Foundation Mumbai
The Chairman of the Society Mr. Sachin Chavan and Mr. Prakash Gaekwad, and other members were very cooperative.
