🌍 Career Guidance Seminar for Students – A
Step Towards the Right Future
Friends, the financial crisis currently affecting the world and our country
is creating many challenges for students and parents. In the coming years,
competition in education and employment will increase rapidly. Therefore,
students will have to work harder than ever before and make career decisions
very carefully.
Choosing the wrong career path can waste both valuable time and money. Many
students select courses only by looking at trends, friends, or social pressure
without understanding their own interests, abilities, and future opportunities.
Because of this, after spending years in studies, they often struggle to find
suitable jobs or satisfaction in their careers.
To guide students in the right direction, ECHO Foundation and Mahalaxmi
Vikas Samiti successfully organized a “Career Guidance Seminar” in Mumbai on 23
May. The main purpose of this seminar was to help students understand the
importance of choosing the correct career path after Std. 10, Std. 12, ITI,
Diploma, B.Com., B.A., B.Sc., Medical, Engineering, Master Degree programs, and
various short-term professional courses.
During the seminar, expert guidance was provided regarding different
educational fields, career opportunities, job-oriented courses, skill
development, government and private sector opportunities, and future employment
trends. Students were informed about how to select courses according to their
interests, financial conditions, talents, and future goals.
Important guidance was also provided on:
• Career opportunities after 10th and 12th
• ITI and Diploma technical education fields
• Engineering and Medical career scopes
• Commerce and Arts career opportunities
• B.Com., B.A., B.Sc. and professional courses
• Master Degree and higher education planning
• Government job preparation and competitive exams
• Skill-based and short-term courses with fast employment opportunities
• Digital careers, AI, technology, freelancing, and startup opportunities
Experts explained that today’s era is not only about degrees but also about
skills, communication, confidence, creativity, and practical knowledge.
Students were encouraged to continuously upgrade themselves according to
changing industry requirements.
Parents were also advised to support their children based on their abilities
and interests instead of forcing them into unsuitable career choices. A correct
decision taken at the right time can completely change a student’s future.
The seminar motivated students to become self-dependent, career-focused, and
socially responsible citizens. It also created awareness that success is
possible in every field if students choose the right direction with proper
guidance, dedication, and hard work.
ECHO Foundation and Mahalaxmi Vikas Samiti continue to work for educational
awareness, career development, and youth empowerment so that students from all
backgrounds can receive proper guidance and build a bright future.
“Right Guidance + Right Decision + Hard Work = Successful Future”
🙏🏻 The ECHO Foundation of Mumbai has once again demonstrated its commitment to student development by organizing an informative and impactful seminar for trainees in the Civil Surveyor and Architectural Draftsman trades at ITI Vaghaladhara, Valsad.Gujarat, This seminar is part of the Foundation's successful efforts over the past five years to bridge the gap between academic education and actual professional requirements.
*Imparting Practical Knowledge to Students*
In today's competitive and rapidly evolving construction and design industries, theoretical knowledge alone is insufficient. Recognizing this need, the Echo Foundation designed this seminar to familiarize students with essential practical concepts and regulatory frameworks that will play a pivotal role in their future careers. The session covered topics such as Municipal Corporation rules, fire safety regulations, AutoCAD applications, and building standard codes.
The Foundation's Chairman, Mr. Arvind Viras, provided students with a deep understanding of how municipal laws impact planning and construction. I
love the month of June. The joy of the rainy season – getting wet, jumping in
the mud – is unforgettable. But what makes the month of June even more special
is the start of a new school year. Little children dressed in clean new
uniforms, some excited and some scared, enter their schools – it is a
heartwarming sight.
I still remember the stories my parents told me. When I was 4
years old, I could count to 10 and read the alphabets – ka, kha, ga, dha… When
I was 5 years and 6 months old, I was admitted to school.
But
today, as per the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, children can start
preschool at the age of 3Years, join J.KG and S.KG at the age of 4+ and 5+, and
start formal schooling in standard 1st at the age of 6Year.
Starting
school is exciting, but it also brings financial pressure. In today’s era of
inflation, it can be difficult for many families to afford uniforms, shoes, bags,
and school supplies. When Uddhav’s Dhodiawad Varshang School opened, ECHO
Foundation provided school bags to newly admitted children – an act that spread
smiles and hope.
Now, schools celebrate “Praveshotsav” – a joyous school entrance
festival. Children are welcomed with songs, smiles and sometimes blessings from
village elders. It is a festival of learning and new beginnings.
Friends,
imagine the impact it would have if each of us helped just one child every year
in their education by donating a bag, books, or just moral support. Even
students from remote villages can move forward, dream big and achieve great
things. Let us all make this small effort together and build a strong, educated
India – every child.
