🌍 Career Guidance Seminar for Students – A Step Towards the Right Future
Friends, the financial crisis currently affecting the world and our country
is creating many challenges for students and parents. In the coming years,
competition in education and employment will increase rapidly. Therefore,
students will have to work harder than ever before and make career decisions
very carefully.
Choosing the wrong career path can waste both valuable time and money. Many
students select courses only by looking at trends, friends, or social pressure
without understanding their own interests, abilities, and future opportunities.
Because of this, after spending years in studies, they often struggle to find
suitable jobs or satisfaction in their careers.
To guide students in the right direction, ECHO Foundation and Mahalaxmi
Vikas Samiti successfully organized a “Career Guidance Seminar” in Mumbai on 23
May. The main purpose of this seminar was to help students understand the
importance of choosing the correct career path after Std. 10, Std. 12, ITI,
Diploma, B.Com., B.A., B.Sc., Medical, Engineering, Master Degree programs, and
various short-term professional courses.
Important guidance was also provided on:

• Engineering and Medical career scopes
• Commerce and Arts career opportunities
• B.Com., B.A., B.Sc. and professional courses
• Master Degree and higher education planning
• Government job preparation and competitive exams
• Skill-based and short-term courses with fast employment opportunities
• Digital careers, AI, technology, freelancing, and startup opportunities
Experts explained that today’s era is not only about degrees but also about
skills, communication, confidence, creativity, and practical knowledge.
Students were encouraged to continuously upgrade themselves according to
changing industry requirements.
Parents were also advised to support their children based on their abilities
and interests instead of forcing them into unsuitable career choices. A correct
decision taken at the right time can completely change a student’s future.
The seminar motivated students to become self-dependent, career-focused, and
socially responsible citizens. It also created awareness that success is
possible in every field if students choose the right direction with proper
guidance, dedication, and hard work.
