Drawing-competition-undachЁЯСИ
Echo Foundation visited "Undach Primary School" located in a village five km from Bilimora. We held a drawing competition for the students on 'Swachata Abhiyan' topic. Echo Foundation provided the stationery ; also certificates and prizes were given to the participants and winners.
Friends, it was brought to our notice that if there are less than thirty students in a school, then the school will have to shut down. The students are admitted to school of other villages.
Mostly the people living in these type of villages are very poor. They depend on doing small labor jobs for a living.
There is also no transportation services, hence it becomes very difficult for the children to go to other schools and thus helplessly deprived of education.
'Undach Primary School ' have a total of thirty four students from std. 1 to std. 4. and two teachers.
Hopefully more admissions are expected thereby the school remains to continue and also the teachers remain employed.
Echo Foundation heartily thank the principal of the school, Smt. Nayanaben Patel and their teacher Shri Rajeshbhai Patel and all the senior members of the village for greeting us a warm welcome.
Three artist guest of Echo Foundation who were also present parted knowledge to the students on drawing and painting.
shri Ketanbhai Patel and Shri Ravibhai Sosa, both teachers from different places and schools told the students about the importance and value of education.
Echo Foundation thank all of them.
Shri Arvindi Viras, president of "Echo Foundation" also taught the students, how to fill colors in a drawing.
