January
26, this is the date, when democracy in real sense i.e. people's rule started
and implemented in independent India. That's why it is celebrated as Republic
Day. The country got independence from the British only in the year 1947, but
after three years on January 26, 1950, the Constitution of India came into
force. In which Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar presided over the constitution drafting
committee.
India
is celebrating its 74th Republic Day this year.
Republic
Day was celebrated by Eco Foundation in Mumbai's Nisarga Society and Undach
Dhodiawad Prathmik varg School, Undach, Bilimora-Gujarat on January 26,
committee members and all the members of the society were present, the flag was
saluted.
On
the other hand, the children were given chocolates, snacks and gifts by the Eco
Foundation.
All
the children of the society entertained the people with dance.
We
are thankful to Mr. Sachin Sahib, Satam Sahib, Shrikant Sahib, Smt. Neelam Ben
and other members.
